Public website

The live website loads Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and page performance. Cloudflare states that its analytics beacon does not use cookies or browser storage to track visitors. Hosting providers also process network information and operational logs to deliver the service. Read Cloudflare’s analytics disclosure.

Accounts

Sign-in credentials are sent to Supabase Auth. The website stores the session in this tab's session storage, not your password. Sign-out clears that session.

Product lookup

Submitted barcodes are sent to the configured product service. If you sign in and enable lookup history, successful lookups can be saved to your account. Shopping preferences are stored with your account; comparison priorities are selected on the page.

Personal analysis workspace

Collections and their personal notes are stored privately with your TruthScore account. Full scan history is a separate, optional setting: when enabled for an active Premium membership, each successful lookup records its barcode, lookup method and server timestamp. Turning it off stops new event recording; existing entries remain until you delete them. No earlier events are reconstructed from the older latest-lookup history.

You can read, download or delete your stored workspace after membership ends. New collection edits and full-history recording require active, recently verified membership. Collection deletion removes its notes and entries; it does not remove your separate saved foods. Confirmed account deletion removes these workspace records. Personal notes are your own content, not public reviews or verified evidence.

Product photos and review notes

Barcode scanning and photo decoding run on your device. Selected photos are not sent to the product service; only the barcode is used for lookup. Photo-review notes and images on the website remain on the page until you remove them or leave, unless you download them. In the mobile app, saved photo reviews stay in the app’s local storage and can be deleted from Saved photo reviews. Exporting opens your device’s save/share options. These personal notes are not published reviews or verified product facts.

Support email

Messages sent to TruthScore support, billing, privacy and enterprise addresses are stored in a separate Cloudflare-hosted inbox. Message text may be processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to prepare an unsent draft for human review. Attachments are not retained. Inbox records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Replies can be sent after human review. Do not email passwords, payment-card details or sensitive health information.

Subscriptions

Purchases are disabled. Store verification and renewal services must be tested, and their actual data use disclosed, before enabling subscriptions.

Deletion

The Account page sends an authenticated, password-confirmed deletion request. Server confirmation is required before the interface reports success. Final retention details must match the deployed service.
