Reviewed nutritional result

A completed calculation uses the required inputs and an approved review for the exact product. Its method, version and source records remain inspectable.

Provisional nutrition estimate

When only some source quantities are available, a separately labeled estimate may show a possible range and its midpoint. Unknown contributions are varied across the model’s range. The midpoint is an estimate, not a measured health value or a completed reviewed assessment.

Open “Why this estimate?” to see the supported inputs and assumptions. A wide range means the information leaves substantial uncertainty.

When a number cannot be supported

No score is assigned without usable inputs. Missing information is never a zero or a negative finding about the food.

What this scale tells you.

The 1–100 display adapts the UK NPM 2018 nutritional model. These four display bands are TruthScore’s presentation, not official UK classifications or a percentage chance of being healthy.

Organic certification, grass-fed status, allergens and your own dietary needs are separate considerations. A higher number cannot establish overall safety, water purity or individual suitability.
